One dog only is allowed in the apartment.

Nestled on the edge of the forest, this charming apartment welcomes you with a 100% mountain feel: exposed beams, warm wood panelling, terracotta tiles and vintage objects that tell the story of the Aosta Valley soul. In the evening, let yourself be won over by the cosy fireplace, where the crackling fire sets the scene for long evenings with friends or family.

Right from the front door, a path leads straight into the enchanting Sylvenoire woods, ideal for lovely hikes in summer and cross-country skiing in winter.

The apartment cannot be reached by car. There is a small free public car park 150 metres away on foot, on the path leading to the centre of Cogne.

Practical information

No car access

The apartment stands on the edge of the Gran Paradiso National Park forest - along a footpath (a cross-country ski trail in winter) - with no car access. There is a free public car park – where you can leave your car – 150 metres away on foot.

Check-in / check-out

The apartment is available from 4 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am at the latest on the day of departure.

Non-smoking

The apartment is non-smoking (including e-cigarettes).

Pets

One dog only is allowed in the apartment. No other pets.

Accessibility

The apartment is not suitable for people with reduced mobility (stairs).

Inventory

A full inventory listing everything in the apartment is given to guests on arrival. Any missing items or other issues noticed by guests on arrival must be reported to the owner within 24 hours of check-in.

Final cleaning

The rental always includes a full clean of the apartment, which we carry out ourselves after the guests leave. We simply ask guests to do the following before they leave:

Wash all the dishes in the kitchen
Put the crockery away in the kitchen cupboards
Empty the fridge completely
Take away all personal food
Take all rubbish to the public bins
Leave the VITA card (rubbish bins) on the table
Switch off all the lights
Close all the outside shutters
Lock the apartment
